Day 1 – Your Adventure Starts Now

Once you're settled into your accommodation, there's no time to lose. Spend the afternoon exploring the trail network around Whitehorse. Walk to historic Miles Canyon, or hike up Grey Mountain for panoramic views of the Yukon River valley. Maybe rent a canoe and hit the water on one of the nearby lakes. Mark the long Yukon days with drinks on the deck and a late dinner out.

Day 2 – Bike Trails to the Alpine

Head to Carcross to hit the Yukon's world-class mountain biking trails. Join a tour or find your own way, and discover the culture, history and beauty of Carcross. Whether you're a novice or experienced mountain biker, you'll find old roads and exhilarating singletrack that combine great riding with stunning mountain scenery.

Day 3 – Take it to the River

A summertime visit isn't complete without going on the Yukon River. Start with a visit to the S.S. Klondike, then launch your canoe from downtown Whitehorse. Operators offer guided day trips, rentals and shuttles. Enjoy a picnic ashore and watch for wildlife and historic sights. Celebrate your midnight sun adventure by dining on local cuisine with northern ingredients.


Days 4-5 – Explore Kluane Country

Head out to Haines Junction for a day of hiking and sightseeing in the Kluane region. Drive to Haines Junction and discover the wilderness playground of Kluane National Park. Visit Da Kų Cultural Centre and the park headquarters to learn about the area and plan your adventures. Hike above Kathleen Lake and explore the park's forest trails. Enjoy wildlife sightings, wildflowers and Kluane's mountain scenery.
