Above the spectacular Saint Elias
Kluane National Park and Reserve is amazing to drive along, beautiful to hike into and absolutely breathtaking to see from the air. The Saint Elias Mountain Range includes Mount Logan—the highest peak in Canada and second highest in North America—and eight more of Canada’s highest mountains.
Take a flight tour to land on the icefields and view the king of these giants, Mount Logan. See the impressive glaciers—highways of deep ice dotted with impossibly vivid blues. Away from the ice, watch for bears, moose, sheep and wolves. With so much to see, it can seem hard to know where to look, but flightseeing pilots have an eye for spotting wildlife and will point out the various geographical features. When skies are clear, you may see all the way to the Pacific Ocean.
Kluane’s mountains, icefields and glaciers make up part of the largest internationally protected area in the world, joined with a park in BC and two parks in Alaska. It is an incredibly vast landscape, and the opportunity to soar over it or step out into it can be life changing. Surreal is the only way to describe this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
