Rosemary Scanlon is the artist behind Gold Leaf Beasts. In her work, she explores the tension between the fantasy and reality of northern life.
Her fantastical watercolor paintings are inspired by medieval tapestries. And of course, the people, places, and wildness of the Yukon.
Rosemary has shown her work locally, nationally, and internationally in New York, Berlin, London, Milan and Scotland. She completed her Masters's Degree in Fine Arts from the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland.
