Heures
As a result of COVID-19 our scheduled exhibition KENOJUAK ASHEVAK: Life and Legacy has been postponed until October. In its place, we invite local artists to take over the gallery space for creation, presentation and professional development. We are not currently considering proposals for public events or gatherings but public entry in limited numbers during scheduled times may be negotiated between the artist and gallery.

The ODD Gallery is a contemporary free public art gallery housed in the Klondike Institute of Art & Culture (KIAC). The Gallery presents a wide array of year-round outreach programming including artist talks, openings, lectures, screenings, youth programs and other special events.
The ODD Gallery’s year-round programming features solo and group exhibitions (selected and curated by committee) by regional, national and international visual artists, as well as the annual thematic project The Natural & The Manufactured. Gallery programming fosters professionalism and appreciation of regional visual arts practice, and provides the community with exposure and access to a diverse range of contemporary visual arts practices and theories.
The Natural & The Manufactured is an annual thematic collaboration between the ODD Gallery and the KIAC Artist in Residence Program. Each summer, two artists come to Dawson City to undertake a six-week residency culminating in an ODD Gallery exhibition and public installation. The Natural & The Manufactured assembles visual, media and interdisciplinary artists, curators, art historians, writers and cultural thinkers for residencies, exhibitions, lectures, essays and workshops.
For more information about this program, visit The Natural and The Manufactured.
