Northern Tempo Equestrian Centre welcomes visitors and Yukoners to overnight or spend some time in our rustic cabins or mezzanine apartment. In addition to our horse boarding, riding lessons, clinics and equestrian competitions, we offer short term accommodations and "Bed and Bale" services. We offer two rustic 'blue jug' cabins with incredible views and a mezzanine apartment with a large deck overlooking the horse farm and barn. Northern Tempo is a great place to stop over as you travel the highway with or without your horse. Stay with us as you participate in an equestrian event or just enjoy the views, the farm, and surroundings. We are close to the Nordic Spa, Wildlife Preserve and other special visitor destinations.
Northern Tempo Equestrian Centre is a busy horse facility and we want to invite visitors and Yukoners to share our beautiful space. We have accommodations to fit the equestrian wanting to participate in or audit our clinics and events or over night with their horses as they travel up and down the highway.
We welcome visitors looking for a quiet overnight or those who want to stay longer and enjoy the views, the farm and the local amenities.
Our 130 farm is located north of Whitehorse and the private cabins and mezzanine apartment have open views that are perfect for watching the migrating birds, the ever changing mountain views or the aurora dancing in the Yukon sky.
The "Red Cabin" sits up on the upper bench is 420 square feet, with a comfortable queen size bed in the loft, blue jug water in a well appointed kitchen (2 burner cook top, refrigerator, airfryer/toaster oven, microwave, nesspresso, kettle etc), comfortable living space with couch, tv and dining area. Electricity, high speed wifii, outhouse, fire pit, and outdoor eating space make it a Yukon experience to remember.
The "Blue Cabin" sits in the trees with views to the east and south. The 420 sq ft, one bedroom, dry cabin has a well appointed kitchen (microwave, kettle, range, refrigerator, coffee machine), living room with additional sleeping space, and a dining area. The back deck has amazing views and is a perfect spot for outdoor eating and the fire pit allows for outdoor cooking or just sitting around enjoying the quiet midnight sun or aurora shows.
"The Mezzanine" apartment is around 1000 sq feet with room to visit! A queen sized bed in the loft and queen sized cabinet bed makes this space perfect for couples or a family on adventure. This space is over the barn with views to the indoor and visitors will be able to experience the horse farm and the wider Yukon views. The apartment has a small office space, a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen with amenities (range, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator) and an open large living space with propane fireplace. The large deck offers outdoor eating space where visitors can view the horses, the migrating birds, wildlife crossing the fields and the aurora.
