Join Sofía, a local Yukon guide, on a personalized small-group journey in search of the Northern Lights. With a maximum of 4 guests per night, each evening is flexible and guided by the weather and sky conditions as we travel to find clear skies and the best opportunities to experience the aurora.
This is more than simply waiting for the Northern Lights to appear. Each evening, we follow the sky and weather conditions to decide where to go, adapting the route as conditions change in search of clear skies and opportunities to see the aurora.
With a maximum of 4 guests, the experience is personal and flexible. I personally guide the tour, sharing my local knowledge of Yukon and helping you make the most of the night. Depending on conditions, we may travel outside Whitehorse to find better viewing opportunities and darker skies.
The aurora is a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed, but every night is different. Cloud cover, visibility and solar activity all play a role, and sometimes the most unexpected conditions can create a memorable show.
The experience includes transportation from your Whitehorse accommodation, warm drinks and snacks, and digital photos from the evening. Most importantly, it is about enjoying the journey, the Yukon night sky and every opportunity the aurora gives us.

Booking & Payment: Availability must be confirmed by email or message, before booking. Payment is made by PayPal using a secure link. Full payment is required to secure the booking. Maximum group size: 4 guests. Please visit the website for more details on groups or individual bookings.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
* Cancellations received 6 or more days before the tour date: full refund.
* Cancellations received 5 days or less before the tour date: 90% refund.
Aurora & Weather Conditions: The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. The tour operates according to weather, road and safety conditions. The route and timing may be adjusted during the evening based on cloud cover, visibility and aurora activity.
The absence of Northern Lights does not qualify for a refund when the tour operates as planned.
If the tour is cancelled by Yukon Vacation Agency because it cannot safely or reasonably operate, guests will receive a full refund.
Important Information: Guests should be ready in their hotel lobby 5–10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Pickup and return times may be adjusted according to weather and the route selected for the evening.
Guests are responsible for providing accurate contact information and following the guide's safety instructions throughout the experience. All guests are required to complete and sign a liability waiver before participating in the Aurora Hunting Experience. The waiver can be completed electronically by email or in person before the tour.
