This small-group Yukon photography tour and hands-on photography workshop is designed to capture the extraordinary beauty of winter in Canada’s North. Led by professional photographer Beat Glanzmann, the journey explores the spectacular wilderness around Kluane National Park and Reserve, with its snow-covered mountains, frozen lakes, dramatic winter light and pristine Yukon landscapes.

Photography is at the heart of the experience. Participants photograph unique ice formations, black and turquoise ice, frozen landscapes and the Aurora Borealis under the dark Yukon sky. Hands-on instruction in the field covers Yukon winter photography, landscape photography, composition, camera settings, working with natural light and Northern Lights photography.

Small group sizes allow for individual guidance and the flexibility to respond to the best light, weather and photographic conditions. Available in a shorter and an extended version, this Yukon photography workshop combines professional photography instruction with an authentic winter wilderness experience.
