Mobile telephony is available in all Yukon communities; mobile data is available in Whitehorse and some localities. However, the networks do not extend to Yukon highways or wilderness areas. You will therefore have to do without a signal for a few hours when traveling between two localities.

Bell Mobility offers a high-speed packet access network (HSPA+ access) as well as code division multiple access (CDMA access) in 17 Yukon communities. The company also has data roaming agreements with other major HSPA and CDMA service providers in Canada and the United States, including TELUS. Users have uninterrupted access to Bell Mobility services almost anywhere in North America. TELUS customers have similar access to Bell subscribers through an agreement between the two companies.
