The Yukon’s sparse population leaves plenty of room for big stuff, like the biggest non-polar ice fields in the country. Or the highest mountains in Canada. But that's not all, the territory is a haven for some of North America's most impressive species. A visit to the Yukon is a vacation like no other. Why? Because the Yukon is like nowhere else on Earth. Its majestic mountains–you know, the massive ones we just mentioned–untamed wildlife and crystal clear waters of glacier-fed lakes beckon travellers and adventurers alike.  All of this magic is situated directly north of the Canadian province of British Columbia, to the east of Alaska and west of the Northwest Territories. Its northern border touches the Arctic Ocean.
