When the Yukon winter sun slips away, Mount Sima comes alive. Ski under the lights, then stay on the mountain for the night in our Geodome. Above the Yukon River valley, with a sky full of stars and the chance of northern lights, it's a winter evening you won't find anywhere else.
Start your Wednesday evening on the slopes. From 4pm to 8pm, ride the T-Bar to the top and carve down Dan's Descent, a blue run that's ideal for a relaxed, scenic night on skis. As darkness settles over the mountain, the valley below quiets down and you have the hill to enjoy under the night sky.
When the lifts stop at 8pm, the evening is just getting started. Head to the Geodome, perched on the mountain with sweeping views over the Yukon River valley. Settle in and look up. Far from city lights, the sky opens into a canopy of stars, and on the right night the aurora borealis might dance overhead. Wake up on the mountain, with the whole valley spread out below you.
Whether you're a couple looking for a winter escape, friends chasing a memorable night out, or a family who wants more from a ski day, this is a Yukon winter experience that combines skiing, stargazing and a one-of-a-kind stay in one evening.
