Road accessible Yukon Government campground in the Klondike Region. 

Lies in a balsam poplar and white spruce forest next to the creek.

Tachän Gé, the creek's Northern Tutchone name, means "back of the fish(es)."

Warning: 

Fishing is not permitted in Tatchun Creek (Tatchun River) from August 1 to September 30, to protect spawning Chinook salmon.
