World-Class Aurora Viewing Location
Operating just 30 minutes from downtown Whitehorse, Yukon Wide's purpose-built facility offers one of the region's finest aurora viewing sites. The secluded, north-facing rural property features a 3,000-square-foot heated building with modern washrooms, kitchen facilities serving appetizers and hot drinks, and comfortable indoor seating. A spacious wraparound deck provides unobstructed views ideal for aurora photography, while a crackling fire pit creates an authentic northern atmosphere. Nightly viewings run Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with hotel shuttle service included.
Flexible Package Structure
The Northern Lights Plus program offers 2 to 5-night bundled packages, each including downtown Whitehorse hotel accommodation (Gold Rush Inn, Edgewater, or Sternwheeler), nightly guided aurora viewing, and a selection of curated daytime activities.
During the day, guests will experience some of the Yukon's signature winter activities led by professional guides. Depending upon the package length,options include dog sledding with elite Iditarod and Yukon Quest huskies, a Yukon Wildlife Preserve tour featuring muskoxen, moose, and lynx, Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs for Nordic-inspired wellness, snowmobiling along the historic Dawson Overland Trail, and ice fishing on pristine backcountry lakes.
Northern Lights viewing and daytime activities are also available as separate products allowing you to build custom itineraries for your clients.
