Your golden adventure starts here
In light of COVID-19 impacts and ongoing uncertainties, the Yukon Gold Explorers Passport contest has been cancelled for the 2020 season.
Start the trip of a lifetime at any Yukon Visitor Information Centre to acquire what some call the most valuable passport in the world—the Yukon Gold Explorer’s Passport. Then, with your bags packed, it’s time to set off on your own gold rush around the Yukon—you’ll be like the original prospectors, but in a temperature conditioned car of course.
Your first task is to track down official Yukon Gold Explorer Passport stamps or numbers, but luckily for you, most of them are hidden in plain sight. You’ll find them at museums, cultural centres, and many other historic and unique places worth visiting. Once your Yukon trip is full of memories and your Yukon Gold Explorer’s Passport is full with stamps or numbers, head back to any Yukon Visitor Information Centre and you’ll be entered into a draw to win real Klondike placer gold.
How much gold? Collect 20 or more stamps or numbers for your chance to win 2 troy ounces. Collect 10 or more for your chance to win 1 troy ounce.
