This small-group photography tour and hands-on workshop captures the Yukon during one of its most spectacular seasons. Led by professional photographer Beat Glanzmann, the journey combines the brilliant colours of Indian Summer with dramatic mountain landscapes, pristine wilderness, wildlife photography and the possibility of photographing the Aurora Borealis beneath clear autumn skies.
The photography experience centres around the Kluane region, where golden aspen and birch forests, wide-open landscapes, lakes and the snow-covered St. Elias Mountains create exceptional conditions for autumn landscape photography. The journey also includes dedicated wildlife photography, with opportunities to photograph bears and other northern wildlife in their natural environment.
The low northern sun creates long periods of beautiful morning and evening light, providing ideal conditions for landscape and nature photography. Hands-on workshops, image reviews and individual guidance help participants develop their skills in landscape, wildlife and Northern Lights photography throughout the journey.
With a maximum of seven participants, the tour combines professional photography instruction, carefully selected locations and an authentic wilderness experience — with plenty of time to photograph, observe and experience the extraordinary colours and nature of the North.
