The Kluane Winter Escape is a full day guided trip from Whitehorse along the Alaska Highway to Haines Junction, the gateway to Kluane National Park, and further. Pick-up is at 9:30 AM in Whitehorse. We head west through snow-covered boreal forest toward some of the Yukon's most dramatic mountain scenery, with views of the St. Elias Mountains when the sky allows, with a stop and possible hike to one of the most beautiful lakes in the Yukon.

Your guide chooses the stops based on the day's light, weather and road conditions, with time outdoors for sightseeing and photography. It's a relaxed sightseeing trip, not a physical excursion: expect only light walking on snow.
