mks ceramic: The joy of creating form is expressed in Monika Käte Steputh’s pottery work. Since 1997 her unique tablewares, tea ceremony sets, washbasins, stoneware sculptures and individual ash glazes have contained a consciousness of the origin of all beings. Keep an eye out for mks ceramic - Monika's work is featured in exhibits and galleries. For details, give her a call or follow mks ceramic on Facebook.
mks healing: the art of holistic healing encompasses body, mind, soul and spirit as well as the ancestors and the environment a person is living in. Experience how you can unfold your full potential through Systemic Family Constellation Modality and holistic Energy and Body Work. Monika provides the experience of 30+ years of holistic health modalities to your service. Sessions can be given in English and German language.
The "Great North" - wild & open space – is Monika's inspiration, her passion and her "soul food", it nourishes her in many ways. The open space is her home, reflects her heart and while she's throwing and creating pottery, she deeply resonates with it. Here is – where she truly learned to love life – not just know about it – simply experience and feel it. Life is Love and Love is Life!
Handmade pottery is not only utilitarian, it is for your daily pleasure and joy. "Every day is new and unique ... so your pottery can be too. Make a connection with what inspires and moves you every day ... and drink a cup of tea"
The pottery is fired up to 1280ºC/2336ºF and therefore it is dishwasher safe. Glazes are lead-free and partly wood ash glazes, celadons, shino and mostly from east asian pottery tradition. Material: clay or porcelain.
For details, please give Monika a call or follow mks ceramic on facebook or Monika Käte Steputh on Instagram.
Monika has also pieces of her work in The Yukon Permanent Collection of Art.
