Priska was born in 1970 in Switzerland. She made Dawson City her home in 2011.
The sense of community, the friendly people, the unique City of Dawson and the vast and beautiful landscapes that surround the goldrush town have captured her heart.
Priska works with photography which she transforms into something she has labeled "photo painting".
Perfection is not her goal, her images are reflecting her moods, emotions and her surroundings. And while there is so many subjects to choose from, the big ravens have become her most loved subject.
While most of her art is available as prints, she is also working with other medias, such as encaustic, jewelry and wearable art.
Her art is currently available online, at the Dancing Moose on Dawson's Front Street and at the Dawson City Museum.
