Wildlife guaranteed! View 10+ species of Yukon wildlife in large natural habitats.
Wildlife guaranteed! Just 25 minutes north of Whitehorse and open year-round. We invite you to experience the great wildlife of the North in their natural habitat. Join interpreted bus tours or self-propelled adventures, you will get you safely and respectfully close to the 12+ species of Yukon native animals in our care.
Our wildlife interpreters love to share their stories and knowledge about the wildlife in the Preserve, bringing the animals even closer to you. Join daily interpretive tours or any one of our special VIP tour experiences. Enjoy a slower pace, your own pace. You can walk or explore with the added adventure of a kicksled (in winter) or a fat bike (year-round). Bring your own bike (BYOBike), or other gear to explore the 5 km loop and 750acre ecosystem at your leisure. In winter BYO - cross-country skies, or snowshoes. No matter how you choose to visit, you can guarantee making personal connections with the fauna of the Yukon, fostering real-life interactive learning experiences that will stay with you forever! Book online!
Our facility includes the Wildlife Research and Rehabilitation Center where injured wild animals are cared for by specialists who work to release healthy, capable animals back into the wild. As a non-profit charitable organization we strive to connect our visitors to the natural world through memorable experiences in large natural landscapes. We care for Yukon’s most vulnerable wildlife and build nature literacy through engaging programs. Join us in building communities that are wild at heart <3
