Fireside Adventures is a Canadian outdoor education and adventure travel organization with more than a decade of experience operating in the Yukon, delivering meaningful, safe, and transformational paddle-based experiences for children, youth, adults, and families. For over 10 years, Fireside Adventures has worked closely with Yukon partners, guides, and educators to offer immersive summer river expeditions that blend outdoor skills, leadership development, climate education, and cultural learning. Our programs emphasize small group sizes, highly trained staff, and intentional learning design—ensuring every participant feels supported, challenged, and inspired.

Signature Yukon programs include Yukon Explorer, a youth-focused canoe expedition designed to build confidence, teamwork, and outdoor competence through multi-day river travel. Canada World Bound: Wild Roots invites young people to reconnect with nature and national identity through deep exploration of the Yukon River system, Indigenous histories, and environmental stewardship. Our Family Adventure programs offer a rare opportunity for parents and children to paddle together—strengthening relationships while learning practical outdoor and expedition skills in one of Canada’s most iconic wilderness regions.

In addition to youth and family programming, Fireside Adventures also delivers World Bound Adult Courses in the Yukon. These professional development and personal growth experiences are designed for educators, youth workers, outdoor leaders, and purpose-driven adults seeking hands-on training in expedition paddling, outdoor leadership, climate change education, and experiential teaching methods. Adult participants gain transferable skills, industry-recognized training, and the opportunity to learn directly from the land through extended river journeys on the Teslin and Yukon Rivers.
