The 7-Day Northern Yukon Hiking Adventure explores the wild heart of the North — hike remote valleys and ridges, camp beneath jagged peaks, and journey in our converted Squatch Bus with time to experience Dawson City.
Step into a wilder kind of Yukon adventure — 7 days hiking through Tombstone’s jagged peaks and deep into the remote North, where few travelers ever set foot.
Traveling in our fully converted school bus, we’ll roll beyond endless spruce forests and alpine ridges to the dramatic landscapes of Tombstone Territorial Park and the gold rush streets of Dawson City. The Squatch Bus is our mobile basecamp — carrying beds, a wood stove, and supplies so we can camp wild under open skies, wherever the road and trail take us.
Days are all about big hikes — up to 25 km with 1500 m of gain — across tundra valleys, sweeping ridgelines, and iconic spots like Grizzly Lake. Along the way, we’ll mix it up with a raw day of rock climbing on Yukon granite and even try our hand at gold panning, a nod to the region’s frontier past.
Nights bring fires under the midnight sun, stories around camp, and the kind of silence you only find this far north. The journey ends in Dawson City, where we’ll swap boots for saloons, live music, and maybe even the infamous Sour Toe Cocktail if you’re brave enough.
This isn’t a soft road trip — it’s full immersion. A wild week of trails, ridges, and raw northern spirit, with the freedom to roam and the wilderness as our constant companion.

Our vanlife adventures are best suited for adventurous travelers aged 18–45 who enjoy an active pace, shared spaces, and a social atmosphere. If you’re outside this range but feel this is exactly your kind of trip, feel free to reach out — we’d be happy to chat.
Cancellation Policy
- Full refund within 24H of booking
- Full refund for cancellations more than 3 months before the tour
- 25% deposit kept for cancellations less than 3 months before the tour
- No refund if canceled within 30 days of the trip start date
